Techniques for estimating construction costs are to obtain pre-construction pricing from vendors and contractors. Square-foot cost estimates and prices are updated and kept current with recent project numbers to reflect present commodity pricing.

Value Engineering

Our focus is to work with the owner, client and contractors during the design phase to produce the most economically feasible method and the most constructible method of installation for the MEP systems. This process helps our projects meet budgetary restraints early in the job schedule, thus avoiding surprises at the end of the job. We continue to work with the owner, client, and contractors through the construction phase for successful completion.

Life Cycle Cost Analysis

Extensive experience with Federal Government’s Life Cycle Cost in Design (LCCID) program while working on numerous Corps of Engineers projects.

We utilize the TRANE TRACE ECONOMIC PROGRAM for calculating life cycle cost on equipment and systems.

Critical Path Method

The nature of the majority of our project fast-track schedules and deliverable time frames require us to utilize a critical path method to meet design deadlines for private as well as government clients.
