Electrical engineering design includes: a main 15KV switchgear line up that fed four remote 15KV unit substation with 4000A switchboards each. Over 6000 lineal feet of 1200 and 1600A bus duct was installed to provide electrical services to the numerous mail sorting machines. Fire alarm and paging systems, a $3,000,000 Cat 6 tele-data infrastructure, CCTV, CATV, Access Control and Training network systems were designed for the facility.
